Widely known as one of Jacksonville’s oldest continuously operating restaurants, Holley’s Bar-B-Q was established in 1937 by Jack Holley and has remained a longtime staple of the city’s barbecue culture.

Located on Moncrief Road, the historic restaurant is known for smoked rib tips, its signature mustard-based BBQ sauce, classic Southern comfort food, and being locally credited with inventing the curly fry.

Holley’s continues to serve traditional barbecue plates, sandwiches, and homemade sides that have been part of Jacksonville food culture for generations.
